1. Policy Statement

Alpha Cleaning Services Ltd (“ACS Ltd”) ensures all employees are fully trained, competent and supported to deliver safe, high-quality cleaning services.
We recognise that well-trained staff protect both clients and company reputation.

2. Induction Training

All new staff receive compulsory induction covering:

  • Company expectations

  • Health & Safety

  • COSHH & chemical handling

  • No-bleach policy & Waiver requirements

  • PPE use

  • Manual handling

  • Safeguarding awareness

  • Infection control

  • Fire safety

  • Site rules

  • Professional conduct

3. Ongoing Training & Refreshers

ACS Ltd provides annual refreshers in:

  • COSHH

  • Health & Safety

  • Safeguarding

  • Use of equipment

  • Environmental best practice

  • Personal conduct

  • Customer service

Specific training is provided for specialist tasks such as:

  • Machine scrubbing

  • Steam cleaning

  • Biohazard cleaning

  • Floor care and polishing

4. Supervisory & Manager Training

Supervisors receive additional training in:

  • Staff supervision

  • Incident reporting

  • Quality audits

  • Conflict resolution

  • Health & safety leadership

5. Competency Assessment

Competency is evaluated through:

  • On-site observations

  • Supervisory feedback

  • Customer feedback

  • Probation reviews

  • Quality audits

  • Refresher training outcomes

6. Record Keeping

All staff training is logged and retained securely.
