Cleaning Schedules That Fit Your School Day
No two schools operate in exactly the same way, so we build your schedule around:

We’ll walk the site with you, map out clear cleaning sections (classrooms, toilets, halls, offices, etc.) and assign named staff so responsibility and accountability are always clear.
Safeguarding & Safer Working
The safety and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults is a core priority in everything we do.
- We follow safer recruitment practices, including identity and right-to-work checks, and carry out DBS checks for roles working in regulated or sensitive settings, in line with school and local authority requirements.
- All staff working on school sites receive basic safeguarding awareness and guidance on professional boundaries and safer working practices.
- Our teams are briefed to report any safeguarding concerns immediately to the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or nominated contact.
- Staff must comply with all site-specific safeguarding, security and visitor procedures, including signing in, wearing identification and following staff instructions at all times.
We work in partnership with schools, trusts and local authorities to maintain safe, respectful and secure environments for pupils, staff and visitors.
Trained Staff, Clear Sections, Consistent Standards
- Divide your school into clear cleaning sections (e.g. EYFS, KS1, KS2, halls, offices, toilets) so each cleaner knows exactly which rooms they are responsible for.
- Provide site-specific inductions and toolbox talks, covering your layout, priorities, risk assessments, COSHH and emergency procedures.
- Use colour-coded equipment and products to prevent cross-contamination, particularly in toilets and food areas.
- Keep daily sign-off sheets for each section so you can see at a glance what’s been completed and by whom.
Where helpful, we can introduce simple time & attendance checks and photo-based reporting for specific tasks (e.g. completion of deep cleans or ad-hoc works).
Performance Management & Quality Assurance
We don’t just send a team and hope for the best – every school contract is actively managed.
- Named Working Supervisor on each site or cluster to coordinate the team, handle day-to-day issues and liaise with your Site Manager/SBM.
- Regular quality inspections using straightforward checklists that score classrooms, toilets, corridors, halls and offices against agreed standards.
- KPIs can be agreed with you – for example:
- Cleaning quality scores
- Complaint levels and response times
- Attendance and staffing coverage
- Termly review meetings (or at a frequency that suits you) to review performance, feedback, upcoming events, lettings and any changes to your estate.
All of this is backed by director-level oversight, so if something isn’t right, you have direct access to decision-makers who can resolve it quickly.
